Every season brings new trends in fashion as well as in the makeup industry. What does the fall of 2019 bring us? Fall/Winter 2019/2020 makeup trends are marked with a timeless red lip and bold, smoky eye. This season’s trends put emphasis on the eyes by promoting the daring and creative eye makeup looks. Current trends seem to put the focus on the artsy and unusual by implementing extraordinary eyelashes and teddy girl liner creating a fusion of artsy and glamorous.
Here are the top 5 makeup trends you can see in 2019-2020 Fall/Winter.

Fall-Winter Makeup Trends:
Incredibly long lashes
The ongoing makeup trends seem to put much emphasis on the eyelashes, a truly feminine feature. But the current trend is not about regular eyelashes. It’s about more creative and artsy ones, sure to catch everyone’s eye. You can find these in many colors and combinations of colors as well as patterns, and of different volume and length. They usually convey an exaggerated look. Different designers consider the trend in a different manner. Some looks are more chromatic while others are more wearable. Makeup artists suggest when wearing these trendy eyelashes, keep the lip and the completion as natural as possible in order for the lashes to stand out. If you’re a devoted fashionista, you’ll adore this trend. And if you wish to emphasize your lashes and make them stand out I personally followed my friend’s tips who is one of the best at their salon Lash Blossom Extensions, whose makeup artists make miracles.
Bold eyebrows
Other beauty trends you need to know for this fall are bold eyebrows. They are also referred to as the statement brows. Again, different designers at Chanel, Prada, and Valentino regard statement brows differently. So, runaways are filled with models featuring bold, overstated and bleached eyebrows, taking us to the otherworldly dimension. Even though they might look too strange for us, we’re sure that many true fashionistas will follow this trend through.
There’s never too much glitter a.k.a. the Disco Look
A glitter renaissance – it’s called. It’s popular to wear glitter on our eyelids as well as lip, and the whole face generally. The colors vary from gold to red and other bold shades. If you love glitter, but you only use it for some special occasions such as Halloween during the year, this is your time! It allows you to go out on a Saturday night (or any other night as a matter of fact) and wear glitter. Amazing, right?! This trend reminds of the 70s clubbing trends, featuring bold and exaggerated makeup looks.
All-natural look
Many runaway shows usually feature this natural, no-makeup look in order to keep the focus on clothes the models are wearing. This look also enhances the model’s beauty without too many products. Going simple and natural is perfectly acceptable in 2019 makeup trends. For this look, you only need three simple things: concealer, lip balm and a touch of mascara. It’s never been easier to follow a makeup trend! Even many designers such as Marc Jacobs went with this trend, even though they usually maintain an avant-garde look of their models. In order to pull off this trend in the right way, we need to keep our skin healthy, glowing and hydrated with proper skincare products. Other famous designers such as Lanvin, Balmain, and Celine followed this barely-makeup look.
A sun-kissed glow
A sun-kissed glow is something we achieve by using a bronzer on our face. A bronzer is usually placed lower than the blush and higher than the contour lines. It is also placed along the sides of the forehead and it can be brushed on along the eyelids. A perfectly glowy and bronzed look is achieved through the previously mentioned bronzing spots and a strobe cream used to give dewy illumination to our faces such as to the center of the forehead, tip of the nose, and high points of the cheek. With this trend, you can always look like a bronzed goddess.
This fall is marked by some extremes in the makeup industry varying from the no-makeup looks to the exaggerated features. Some of them are more preferred than others, and we’ll see which ones will take the leading role during the fall and winter of 2019/2020.
