I feel like I have 2 personalities, one that loves delicate fine jewelry and one that loves bold statement pieces. I think it depends on the style. If you have read the article on 2017 Jewelry Trends, you will see minimalism comes first…..and there’s a reason for that. You can’t go wrong with minimalism. A statement piece either can be a hit or miss, but if you want to play “safe”, a classic and simple piece of jewelry will make you look polished in no time.
Which is why I am using this specific necklace in this summer. It’s a hollow round yellow gold pendant necklace from Jeulia.
WHY IS THIS MY MOST USED JEWELRY?
- Have you ever held a baby with dangly earrings or big chunky necklaces? Almost 99.99% of the time, the earrings will be pulled and the little one will get scratches from the statement necklace. Which is why I am into minimalism right now. In this way, at least she won’t get hurt.
- The cool thing about this necklace is that I can wear and take it off very easily without any help. Neat!
- Another thing is that I can wear it while dressing up or dressing down. I don’t have to spend some extra minutes thinking and looking for which jewelry to wear when I am going out.
- It’s really lightweight, it feels like I am not wearing anything. Which is a make or break point for me as you can see below (and the elephant in the room)….my 2 scars from my 2 surgeries. The neck, shoulder areas around the scar always remain painful and it gets really uncomfortable if I am wearing anything heavy for more than 15 minutes. If you want to know more about this part of my life, check this out.
WHERE DID I GET THIS:
I got this pendant necklace as a PR sample but you can get it from online here. It retails for $115.95 but Jeulia offers it for $59.95. So if you do the math, you save: $56.00 (48%).
IN A NUTSHELL:
You may be a queen of bling-bling but if you want to try something dainty like this, I encourage you to check it out!
