WHY I CHOSE, WHAT I CHOSE:
L’oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation:
I have found that this foundation works well on colder times of the month on my normal to oily skin. To see details on this foundation read my previous article here.
Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Palette:
This is a great drugstore matte eyeshadow palette. I have even used two of these shades to set my undereye area. Worked well! I have chosen to wear matte colors on my upper eye, because if we wear sparkly or glittery or shimmery shadows on upper lid area, the glasses make the colors a little too glittery or shimmery, which looks kind of unflattering. If you are going to wear eyeshadows while wearing glasses, use matte shadows on upper lid and leave the shimmery shadows of lower lid or inner corner of your eyes.
I have darkened the crease area quite a bit because my crease and lid area are often disappeared under my thick glasses. You can tone down the intensity according to your choice.
L’oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow:
These colors, combined, create a lovely effect under glasses. I have used the Smoldering Plum on the outer corner of my lower lid and highlighted the inner & 1st half of the lower lid with Bronzed Taupe.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl and Mascara:
I have picked a nude colored kohl to line the bottom lash line because glasses make our eyes look smaller.
Lining the bottom lash line with a nude color opens up the eyes.
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara looks beautiful under glasses! Check out my previous article to see how it changes the lashes after just one coat. Our lashes often tend to disappear under glasses, which is why if you have absolutely no time to spare for makeup, just curl the lashes and coat those with a mascara and you will see the difference!
ELF eyebrow kit in Medium:
This is not “the best” eyebrow kit in market, but it works. Just set your eye with the wax and fill in the sparse areas with the powder. Details on eyebrow grooming can be found here.
Blush & Highlight:
I bought these 2 when I was in Dhaka and since I got these, I loved every bit of it! This blush color can be doubled as a bronzer or slightly contour the face, even can be used to define the crease. The highlight is one of the best drugstore highlight-products I have used so far. The color is not too warm, not too cool. It gives a perfect hint of healthy sheen on cheek, inner corner of eyes or to highlight the brow bones.
Lips:
I have used shade 045 and 005 of Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain to achieve my desired shade. This is also a great drugstore find!
Details about these can be found .
I have mixed these colors and made a customized shade like this.
If you are not comfortable wearing dark bold colors, you can also use these bold colors as lip stain like I have used below.
IN A NUTSHELL:
You don’t have to follow any color rules while wearing makeup, if you love something, go for it! A guideline also helps a little if you are new to makeup and follow any tutorial. I hope my article can give you ideas about how you can use makeup if you wear glasses.
Have a great day!

You are such a beautiful girl! I am also obsessed with ELF’s eyebrow gel kit and I’ll definitely need to pick up that foundation because your skin looks flawless.
Hi Rebecca! Thanks! I love that foundation, but I wish it had more shades. Most of the time the proper shades are not found or even if there is one, it’s sold out.
I love this! I know that whenever I wear my glasses I have to completely redo my makeup otherwise it looks like I’m not wearing anything!

Exactly! Glasses make us do things a little bit differently 🙂
