“This post was sponsored by Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop. All opinions are my own.”
I forgot the last time I had a “date” with my husband. After we became parents, our focus completely shifted to our daughter, and we rarely had the time to talk about us. Just talk, you know? A meaningless talk which does not involve what to cook today or what do we have to bring to our daughter’s school or if we need groceries. One of the resolutions of this year as a couple is that we will respect our relation and spend some time in the week without having to worry about the little one. So when Erbert & Gerbert’s sponsored us to visit the local shop and try out their new sandwiches, we thought why not make it a lunch date?
So we dropped our daughter at school, finished the works we need to do and met for lunch at the Erbert & Gerbert’s shop in Fargo 13th Avenue. They have launched 2 new flavors: The BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion & plant-based Roasted Red Pepper Bánh Mì. As we have never been to this sandwich shop, it was an experiment for us and I am glad to say that we were not disappointed at all.
The BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion & plant-based Roasted Red Pepper Bánh Mì by Erbert & Gerbert’s:
As a couple, we always love to explore new foods and dig through the ingredients. So I did a little browsing and here’s what I found:
- BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion: A southern take on an Asian classic. All-natural hickory-smoked beef brisket smothered in barbecue sauce, cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes and lettuce with cilantro-mint aioli made from Hellmann’s® mayo.
- Roasted Red Pepper Bánh Mì: Savory sweet roasted red peppers topped with cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and barbecue sauce with cilantro mint aioli made from Hellmann’s® mayo.
Erbert & Gerbert’s is all about adventure and flavor innovation leading to a life of possibilities. Their “Bold Between The Breads™ statement truly stands what it claims. If you love fusion flavors, the Asian-inspired Out-Of-This-World Flavor is something you should definitely try. Here is where you can order them online.

Are you also a parent who often neglects your partner and need help in reconnecting?
Here’s how can you spend some quality time as a couple even if you are a parent.
Make time for your partner- every day, every other day or at least once a week. Start by doing something you both love, which does not involve sitting on the couch and watching movies/ netflix. You can go for a walk, or start exercising together or you can meet for lunch once a week to explore a new restaurant. If you can not hire help or do not have a support system for your children, you can still stay at home and make it enjoyable. Here’s How You Can Spend Your Valentine’s Day At Home And Still Make It Interesting .

Loved this post! Thank you so much for sharing. I need to try those sandwiches! I have never heard of Erbert and Gerbert but their sandwiches remind me of Jimmy Johns! I’ll have to see if there is a location near me 🙂
That sounds great Kaylie, I hope you enjoy them too!
