If your health is starting to suffer you might realize it’s time to start losing weight. I know it can be tough and you’ve probably failed before, but take a look at these genius weight loss tips because I know you’ll be able to use them to find success.
Pay for a binge in advance
When you have a big event coming up you know it’s going to cause havoc with your weight loss attempts, so you should pay for your upcoming binge in advance. That means a few days before you stuff your face you should eat much less food. Maybe cut out a meal each day for the 3 days leading up to your event. Supposing each meal you’ve skipped would have been around 500 calories it means you now have room for an extra 1500 calories and you’ll have no regrets about your binge.
Keep your belly full
I’m not talking about keeping your belly full with hearty pastas and thick-crust pizzas, but instead you should keep your belly full with foods that don’t contain many calories. If you eat lots of vegetables they will sit in your stomach and you will think you’re full. It’s the same with low-calorie soup because when your belly is full of hot liquid there is no way you’ll want to eat anything else. If you can do this a few days per week you will easily lose weight over time.
Skipping breakfast is okay
A lot of people seem to think eating breakfast restarts their metabolism after a good night’s sleep, but to be honest your metabolism doesn’t shut down in the first place. If you eat breakfast there is a good chance you will end up eating 3 meals over the course of the day, but if you skip breakfast you will only end up eating 2 meals unless you force another one into your bust schedule. Just because breakfast cereal companies tell you breakfast is important doesn’t mean it’s true.
Carbs are not the devil
Everyone bullied fats for years and now they’ve suddenly realized fats are very good for you. They needed to stick their claws in somewhere so carbohydrates became the new devil. At the end of the day you only gain weight when you eat too much which has nothing to do with carbs, but it’s still good to cut them out of your diet. I know it’s a bit contradictory, but the reason you shouldn’t eat carbs is because they make you hungry which means it won’t be long before you eat again.
Let your hair down
There is no way anyone can stick to a strict diet unless they are an alien or a robot. Why in the world would you want to stick to a strict diet every single day when you can treat yourself once or twice per week? The trick is to give yourself a treat meal instead of a treat day. When someone has a treat day they usually ruin the work they’ve already put in that week. When they enjoy a nice meal they don’t have anything to worry about and they can start their diet again the following day.
