I have been blogging for the past 4 (almost 5) years and within this time I have come across many tricks- useful, quirky and plain weird- regarding beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Today I am writing about some of the tricks I personally use in my everyday life, and it includes baby products.
Who hasn’t heard about Johnson’s baby products? My mother used their products on me and my siblings…and I am sure I am going to use those on my children too. But I am not talking about using Johnson’s products on babies today.. I am giving some tips about how “WE”, the adults, can use baby products in our daily lives.
I have picked 4 items from Johnson’s for today’s post: Baby powder, Baby shampoo, Baby oil gel and Baby lotion.
Baby Powder:
TIP 1: This is an excellent powder to absorb excess moisture during Summer.
TIP 2: For those who swim, you know how your swimming cap can stuck together after it’s dry?
Here’s a little hack for you. Just take some powder and brush it lightly on the inner surface of the cap and your cap surfaces won’t stuck together!
Baby Oil Gel:
Do you suffer from dry hands or feet or have any dry area on your body you would like to soften?
Use the baby oil gel. You will need a tiny amount to cover even a large area. It’s super moisturizing, smells amazing and leaves you with baby soft skin!
Baby Shampoo:
Baby shampoos work excellent as makeup brush and sponge cleaner. See how dirty my Real Techniques sponge was before? After I cleaned it up with the shampoo, it’s good as new!
Baby Lotion:
Are you running out of makeup remover? Don’t worry.
Just use the baby lotion on a cotton ball to gently wipe off the makeup!

Thank you so much for the tips apu! One thing that I usually do with baby powder is to use it as a dry shampoo. Do you know if the baby oil gel is available in Bangladesh? I don’t thing I’ve seen it around. I think this would be a good overnight hand and foot moisturizer, especially for winter!
I haven’t seen the oil gel on Bangladeshi shops when I was in Dhaka. But it may be changed right now. You have to browse a little. And yes, this is a great moisturizer indeed. I used to use this around Winter time. It behaved pretty well in Dhaka’s Winter and left the skin really smooth and healthy.
