Makeup Geek is a relatively new and one of the rising brands. It’s adored by many beauty enthusiasts and most of them rave about the FOILED eyeshadows.
What is a FOILED eyeshadow you may ask….
These are intensely pigmented opaque eyeshadows with metallic finish and they have a texture between a powder shadow and a cream shadow.
So how pigmented and effective they actually are?
I have reviewed each and every eyeshadow from their collection WITHOUT any primer or base underneath to show all of you their true quality. Keep on reading to know more about these products.
PRICE & AVAILABILITY:
Each retails for $9.99 and can be found on Makeup Geek website.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
All the foiled shadows come in separate pans. You can buy a Z palette like this to store your eyeshadows (pictured below). Makeup Geek has released 20 eyeshadows so far. For convenience, I have divided these shadows into color families so that it remains organized.

2nd row: Golds.
3rd row: Greens.
4th row: Cool toned purples and blues.
As I have so many pictures to show all of you, I am dividing this article into 2 parts. This part will contain the first 2 rows of the eyeshadows.

Hey Stacy, you can order these from Makeup Geek website.

I agree.. The gold ones are beautiful 🙂
The pigmentation!!! ?????
What do you think about the staying power? Was there any fall out?
Staying power is really good, and yes there is some fall out but nothing unmanageable. Just do the eye makeup first, then the face makeup 🙂
these were on my wishlist for so long and after seeing your swatches i want them badly now.. great post <3
Sounds awesome Ana! I hope you are gonna like these too 🙂
