“Anastasia Beverly Hills” is another famous name in makeup industry. So when these 2 famous names merged together there was no doubt that the end result WILL be stunning!

Anastasia and Tamanna have teamed up for a contour palette (launched previously) and an eye shadow palette (launched this year for Fall & holidays). Today I am going to share my thoughts and experience about the eye shadow palette with all of you.

PRODUCT DETAIL:

What the brand has to say:

This collection of versatile shadows constitutes Tamanna’s “must have” shades to achieve her most requested looks on any skin tone. The combination of warm and cool tones combine to create anything from smokey eyes to intricate cut creases, all from a single palette. Specially formulated, high-impact pigments in rich neutrals and shimmering jewel tones go on smoothly and eliminate the need for overbuilding when applying.

PRICE:

It retails for $29 and can be found on Anastasiabeverlyhills.com and Sephora.com

PACKAGING:

The design of Tamanna palette depicts Tamanna’s background of India and Afghanistan. If you are familiar with these 2 (or any one) of these cultures, then you will know what I am talking about. The palette itself is lightweight and made of paper.
The palette has 10 eyeshadows- 3 matte, 1 satin and the rest- shimmery. It includes a mirror and a double-ended brush. It also contains 5 eyemakeup cards with mini tutorials. Pretty neat, huh?

Now let’s have a closer look at the main part, the eyeshadows. Here is how the eyeshadows look in different lighting.

VENEZIA: A shimmery light blue shadow with green-golden shimmers in it. [P.S. This color reminds me of mermaids]

NOIR: Matte jet-black.

PROS:

1. The colors are really pigmented.

2. There was no huge fall out.

3. Shadows are really easy to blend.

4. The matte shadows are not chalky or powdery.

5. With an eyeprimer, the shadows stayed really well.

6. The colors look better on warm skin tone.

7. Easy for travel.

CONS:

1. Price may be an issue for some.

2. I am not fond of the brush. Here’s why: The brush itself is good for travel and quick touch-ups, BUT I don’t reach for this brush often. The pencil side of this brush is not dense enough and the shader side of the brush doesn’t pack eyeshadows well on lids.

IN A NUTSHELL:

I like this palette for my skin color and tone. I can use it for everyday makeup to a dramatic one.
