What do all gel eye liners, whether it’s MAC fluidline, Maybelline, ELF or Bobby brown; have in common?
They all dry up like Sahara after a couple of weeks and make you feel like you have just wasted your money!
If your gel liners are dried up and cracked like this, you can make it usable and smooth as before.

Just follow these methods and extend the shelf life of your gel liner!
Glycerin and primer method
What you will need-
- Glycerin,
- Face primer,
- Tooth pick,
- Hair dryer
-Mix 3-4 drops of glycerin and clear face primer.
-Add the mixture into the gel liner and mix all these with the toothpick.
-Use hair dryer to heat up the mixture.
-Stir with the toothpick.
Eye drop method
What you will need-
- Visine or any eye drop,
- Spatula or toothpick
-Mix 5-6 drops of the drop to the gel liner.
-Stir with the toothpick or spatula.
Heat method
What you will need-
- Microwave oven,
- Toothpick.
- 1-2 drops of Olive oil
This is the least time consuming way.
-Just take the lid off , add the olive oil and heat up the gel liner for about 30-40 seconds. You have to be very careful so that the mixture DOES NOT BOIL.
-Stir with the toothpick like the picture below.

So here it is! Affordable ways to renew your beloved gel liners. You can repeat your preferred process when it dries up again.
BONUS TIP:
Gel liners tend to dry if you keep the jar open for too long. So shut the lid off immediately after you have taken the product with your brush.
