I am not someone who goes for pinks, pastels or bright colors for eyeshadows, but when this new palette from Nomad Cosmetics reached my desk recently I knew I had to explore it to see its potential. NOMAD Tokyo Harajuku Eyeshadow Palette is a newly launched “globally-inspired” palette, and it is transporting users to Harajuku, Tokyo!
This palette brings eclectic, trendy hotspot to life with a poppy pastel palette of 10 creamy eyeshadows and 5 multi-chrome toppers — all infused with local Camellia Japonica Oil!
Tokyo Harajuku Eyeshadow Palette! This poppy pastel palette of fun combines 10 high-pigmented eyeshadows and 5 unique multi-chrome toppers for a sheer prismatic color effect. 15 kawaii shades inspired by the wild creativity of the trendy Tokyo youth. Infused with Camellia Japonica Oil to make skin soft and silky smooth. Cruelty-free & vegan.
I have never been to Japan but from what I have heard and read, it’s truly beautiful. So when I read that this Nomad palette will give me the essence of Harajuku, Tokyo, I was intrigued. First thing came to my mind is: HOW?!
From ingredients to formula and packaging, here’s what the brand has to say about this:
The palette comes in a cardboard box with a good-sized mirror. The design on the palette is definitely cute and girly. It doesn’t come with any brush. It’s lightweight and sturdy enough to travel with.
This palette retails for $37 and can be found on Nomad Cosmetics website.
This palette consists of 5 matte shades, 5 satin and 5 Multi-Chrome Toppers which are neatly placed in 3 rows formula wise. The multi-chrome toppers can be applied with a finger or wet brush and you can use it on lids, lips, cheeks or brows.
Below are the unaltered, unedited swatches of the shadows. As usual, I have not used any base (foundation, primer or anything else) underneath the shadows. They are swatched with a clean finger. The first picture is from the first row consisting matte shadows. The second picture is from the second row consisting of satin shadows and the 3rd and 4th ones are swatches of the 3rd row with multi-chrome toppers.
I loved the quality and performance of these shadows. If you are into fun colors like these, then definitely go for the NOMAD Tokyo Harajuku Eyeshadow Palette.
