COLOR SPOTLIGHT is a monthly series on Sifa’s Corner. Every month I show 10 or more products featuring one specific color or products in the same color family. The color I chose for JUNE screams Summer and it’s YELLOW.
The color YELLOW is associated with many positive emotions. It expresses hope, happiness, cheerfulness, fun, optimism and confidence. Not to mention, it’s almost the official color of Summer, so no other color would be this perfect for the month of June!

This is not completely yellow, but a beautiful warm yellow gold. It is described as “Pale shimmery yellow with just a hint of glitter“

Those who love to play and experiment with their makeup, this pure pigment will be helpful for you. You can use this pigment for eyes or lips or body painting.

You must be wondering why did I include a foundation in this article. Well this is a yellow toned foundation and it’s one of the best drugstore foundations I have used. If you have purchased a foundation that is a little bit pink for your skin tone, you can mix this foundation to make it a little bit yellow according to your skin.
Though it is discontinued by the manufacturer, you can still find it on Ebay.
This inexpensive corrector is great for correcting those blue, grey under-eye circles. You can just use it before your regular concealer, correct your undereye discoloration and then use your regular concealer to conceal the undereye area completely. The formula is liquid and sets as matte.

This color correcting concealer palette is affordable and effective. You will get 6 colored concealer to conceal all kind of the blemishes on your skin. The formula is creamy and you have to set it with a powder.

This is another yellow-gold addition to this list. It’s a warm yellowish gold highlighter that looks great on tanned Summer skin.

This is truly a yellow gold liquid product. You can use this anywhere in your face or body for a beautiful sheen.

This drugstore palette has great color selections specially for Summer. All the colors are swatched here without any primer.

Another great palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. The color selection and shadow quality is good and the colors are great for Summer.

The 4 colors are Laundry Daze (pale white-yellow), Colour Added (bright shimmery yellow), Pre-packaged (shimmery turquoise), and Self-Serve (deep grey). Apart from Self-Serve, the other 3 colors have excellent color payoff.
