We are so accustomed to hearing anti-aging products, sometimes I feel older than I really am. But whether I am liking it or not, aging is happening and it’s slowly creeping up to my skin and hair. So I was really intrigued by the recent Summer launch of Kenra Professional products, specially the Snail Anti-Aging Collection. I don’t know which one peaked my interest most, the anti-aging part or the snail part. Kenra Professional New Summer Launches included reparative and preventive products, which is understandable as Summer is the time our hair gets most damaged.

KENRA PROFESSIONAL SUMMER LAUNCHES:

The Summer launch consisted of the Snail Anti Aging Collection, Shaping Spray 21, Heat Block Hairspray 22.

Kenra Professional Snail Anti-Aging Collection:

This collection consists of Snail Anti-Aging Shampoo, Conditioner and 10 in 1 CC cream. After shampooing and conditioning the hair as usual I have used the CC cream from the mid-shaft to the ends of my hair. The trio left me with soft and manageable hair.

Kenra Shaping Spray 21:

This is an extra strong hold hairspray without any alcohol. It leaves the hair shiny and healthy looking, you know how some hair sprays make your hair look matte and unwashed? This one doesn’t do that.

Kenra Platinum Heat Block Hairspray 22:

MY THOUGHTS:

My hair is dry, has split ends and it often looks dull. The snail collection products made my hair really soft and healthy looking after first use. As you can see from the following picture how my hair looked before using the products for the first time. I may, or may not have washed my hair for a week and I am in dire need of a hair color. But that’s another story for another article.

And here’s how my air-dried hair looked after using the shampoo, conditioner and the CC cream.

The heat protectant spray and the hairspray also worked great. As the hairspray gives extra firm hold, it works great on updos.
I have used the heat protectant spray as a thermal styling product as well as a finishing spray, in both cases, the product acted really well. Talk about 2 in 1!
