“I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.”
As the weather is getting colder and drier, my hair is also turning a little bit drier than usual and it’s getting harder to manage. So when Influenster sent me a package containing the new Kérastase Résistance Thérapiste Hair products, it couldn’t have arrived at a better time!
Resistance Thérapiste is a breakthrough haircare range that gives very damaged, over-processed hair a second life. The formulas of Resistance Thérapiste are enriched with FIBRA-KAP™, a powerful complex designed to compensate for the missing KAPs in damaged hair and RESURRECTION SAP, an extract from a plant able to come back to life after 10 years of near death.
This conditioner is described as the “1ST Reverse Care Conditioner to repair very damaged, over-processed hair.“
You may ask, What is a reverse care conditioner?
It is a conditioner which is designed to use BEFORE shampoo.
WHY?
Because, it acts like a caring gauze to protect the fiber before shampoo.
The conditioner is not super thick like a mask or too much thin. It’s just the right consistency which easily spreads within hair.
Before cleansing, using a quarter-sized amount, massage into wet hair from lengths to ends. Rinse. Can be used after shampoo.
The conditioner comes in 2 sizes:
This is the shampoo among the duo. It’s described as the “1st Renewal Shampoo with Extra-Creamy Texture to repair very damaged, over-processed hair“.
The shampoo is supposed to be used after the conditioner. It claims to envelop the hair fiber during cleansing to reduce friction.
The shampoo is not too liquidy. It may not look like this but when you feel it with your fingers it has a kind of mixed texture between cream and jelly.
Using a quarter-sized amount, massage into wet hair and scalp. Rinse.
The shampoo comes in 2 sizes:
Without talking about the result, let me show you first, because pictures say a thousand words. This is how my hair looked before .
…….and this is how my hair looks after using the combo for the first time.
Here’s a closer look.
Now let’s compare, shall we?
Little bit on the pricier side.
As you can see from the above pictures, my air-dried hair looks (and also feels) healthier, shinier and manageable…which is a huge plus point for me.
Two thumbs up Kerastase! I am in love!

Beautiful Pictures and your hair looks lovely!
Thanks Lynsey!
Wow! Your hair looks awesome after using that product. I will have to see if I can find that near me.
Do try and let me know how it goes Jessica :)
This would be great for my dry hair. I need the softness.
I bet it will! I was pleasantly surprised how soft and manageable my hair turned out. You can also use 2-3 drops of any oil at the end of your hair if it's really dry and curly Tara :)
