Tutorial- Rocker Chic Makeup with Makeup by One Direction

Hello readers!

Whenever I post a makeup look (on my face), I get asked a lot, “Do you do any makeup other than natural and soft looking?“

Though I personally prefer soft glamorous makeup on myself, I also like dramatic makeup….sometimes. 🙂

I was playing with Makeup by One Direction’s Beauty box and came up with something edgy yet wearable as a party makeup. All the eyeshadows and lip colors are from this beauty box. If you want to see detailed review and color swatches of this box, click here.

Before we jump into the tutorial I must disclose that- I wanted to create a look where I can use most products from this beauty box. You can improvise it with any lip color or eyeshadow combination.

FACE:

HOW TO GET THIS LOOK:

First of all I used my concealer as a primer. Then I applied “SUMMER LOVE” (a dark blue shadow) on the outer 2/3rd of upper lid, leaving the inner corner bare. I deepened the outer corner with “I WOULD” (black shadow). Then I blended this into my crease with “TELL ME A LIE” (beige). To give it a little warmth, I lightly blended my bronzer onto the crease along with “TELL ME A LIE”.

For the inner corner I applied “SAME MISTAKES” (metallic mint shadow) and blended it into the dark blue “SUMMER LOVE”.

For my lower lid, I used the kohl from the beauty box, blended it with the dark blue “SUMMER LOVE”, and added the metallic mint “SAME MISTAKES” on the inner corner. I also added a hint of black-“I WOULD” on the outer corner to darken it.

For the lips, I used “LOVED YOU FIRST” (pink) mixed with “HEART ATTACK” (nude) to give it a pinkish-nude look.
