If today’s weather at Fargo, North Dakota is giving any indication, Fall is not far ahead. With the changing weather, we need to adjust our skincare products and strategy. But there are some products you can use all around the year. One of these products is body scrub.
We should scrub our bodies at least 2-3 times a week. Personally, my skin can take scrubs pretty well and I use it every other day. When I am using body scrubs regularly I can see my skin is getting smoother, softer, and looking more glowy. The moisturizer or oil also absorbs well when I scrub, ingrown hairs (after shaving) also occurs less. But as I always ask to use caution, use a product according to your skin type and condition. If your skin is super-sensitive, use 1-2 times a week.
5 Body Scrubs:
I love this for my neck and chest area as a mask and scrub. Sometimes I will also use it around my nose and chin area (due to blackheads). I have also used it on my face as a mask and it did not irritate my face. According to the brand, You can use it as “Cleanser, Exfoliator, and Mask. French Lava wrapped in nourishing calendula, grapeseed, cucumber, and chamomile. Customize usage to fit your skincare needs”.
If you love coconut-smell, you will love this scrub. I love to use the Kopari Coconut body wash afterward to get an ultimate “coconut” experience. It’s an Earth-friendly exfoliant naturally derived from crushed Tahitian coconut shells and made with coconut milk and coconut oil to leave scrubbed skin feeling soft.
I found it’s amazing for knee, elbow, and legs (the thicker skin of the body). This is described as an intensely exfoliating body scrub formulated with Sea Salt, Walnut Shell Powder, and Sweet Almond Oil. Do not use it on the face, that will be too harsh.
This is You can use it in your scalp and your body, smells delightful and feels wonderful. It is described as a “deep-cleansing, foaming Scalp & Body Scrub that is like a trip to rehab for your scalp and skin. A weekly detox powered by gently exfoliating sugar crystals to cleanse and soften skin and a dose of probiotics to leave your skin’s natural defenses on high alert.“
The key ingredients: SUGAR (Uncloggs & gently exfoliates and conditions while increasing micro-circulation), PROBIOTIC BLEND (Supports your scalp & skin’s microbiome’s natural defenses), COCONUT OIL (Rich in fatty acids that nourish & moisturize the skin, scalp and hair), FRAGRANCE (Melrose Place – Contains notes of Rose, Bergamot, Lychee, Cedarwood, and White Musk.)
It smells like the love-child of coffee and coconut. According to the brand, “i+i CBD-Infused Coffee Body Scrub gently removes dead cells to reveal smoother, softer, more radiant skin. Our unique formula of hemp-CBD, coffee, brown sugar, and essential oils leaves your body feeling energized, nourished, and renewed.
