My 5 Essential Products for A Relaxing Shower

by Wasifa Ahmad Hasan

I have always heard from my elders that, you won’t understand the value of free time unless you have less of it. Boy oh boy, How I relate to this after my daughter is born! With the 2-year old baby and handling my business all by my own, I get very little time for just myself at the end of the day. I like to utilize that time with a nice refreshing shower. I know many of you are very busy and maybe in a similar situation, which is why today I am going to talk about my 5 essential products for a relaxing shower.

5 Products in my Shower:

From taking off the makeup to moisturize, I like to pick products which will give me multiple benefits at once.

The products I am showing here are:

  • Pixi Beauty Double Cleanser
  • Softsoap Body Wash
  • Thursday Plantation Tea Tree oil
  • Yeouth Dead Sea Mud Mask
  • Lexli Aloe Based Night Moisturizer

Pixi Beauty Double Cleanser:

Ever since I started using this cleanser to take off my makeup, I haven’t used anything else. It’s a 2-in-1 cleanser created by Caroline Hirons where one side contains a solid cleansing oil and the other side a cleansing cream for the thorough PM cleansing. It has ingredients like:

SOLID CLEANSING OIL: Vitamin E (Protects & conditions), Camellia Oil (Omega rich & nourishes), Evening Primrose Oil (Heals & moisturizes)

CLEANSING CREAM:  Vitamin C  (Promotes collagen & protects), Peptide Complex  (Line relaxing & plumping), Arginnie  (Improves cell renewal & elasticity)

It retails for $24 and you can get it online here.

Softsoap Body Wash:

I love fresh and fragrant body washes, I feel like the scent gives a nice refreshing touch when we shower. I am into Softsoap body washes lately. Their honey, lavender, jasmine, and plum infused shower gels have hydrating and fragrant formulas which will leave you clean and moisturized.

It retails for $4.49  and you can get it online here.

Yeouth Dead Sea Mud Mask:

I absolutely love to use a mud mask. They have multiple benefits like: shrinking pores, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helping to draw the toxins from our skin. It also helps exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving clearer and brighter skin. Currently, I am taking a break from my trusty Pure Body Naturals mud mask and have started to use this dead sea mud mask from Yeouth. It is Infused with nourishing actives like Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe, Oatmeal, & Avocado Oil, it also helps promote a healthy balance of moisture in the skin.

It retails for $45.95 but it’s on sale for $19.95. Get it online here.

I mix 1 drop with my shower gel or the mud mask I use to maximize the benefits of those products.

It retails for $9.99  and you can get it online here.

This is also a recent addition to my skincare routine. It’s an aloe based moisturizer by Lexli Skincare, based in Fargo, ND. This moisturizer gives the perfect amount of moisture in the dry and cold Fargo weather. The formula feels very soothing and skin feels soft afterward.

Nice suggestions. I love SoftSoaps Vanilla Scent. Tea tree oil is great at soothing the scalp too. Hmm I’ve been looking for a moisturizer, I’ll have to check out your link. Thanks.
