If you ask me to pick one accessory to wear, I will probably choose a wristwatch (given the fact that I am already wearing my wedding ring). Today I am going to talk about an accessory I am absolutely loving currently. It’s an automatic wrist watch from Grayton. The style I picked for myself is the Women’s Automatic Watch Blue Dial & Brown Croco-Embossed Leather Strap. Why did I pick it?

Because this piece displayed a combination of class and style and this particular model was screaming my name!

WHAT IS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH:

Automatic watches are the most unique and intricate kind of mechanical timepieces. Automatic (or self-winding) watches eliminate the need for the user to wind the watch, with a mechanism that winds the mainspring automatically. The weights in the watch’s mechanisms spin while the watch is worn and the user’s wrist is moving. Simply walking will keep an Automatic perpetually wound.

The watch gathers and stores energy through the movements so it is, therefore, able to keep running if you take it off at night. Once the stored energy is used up, the watch will stop. Just a simple movement of the watch or winding of the crown (to reset the time and date) and the process starts all over again. Once the watch is in motion, it has an autonomy of 41 hours, during which it keeps going, even if you are not moving or not wearing the watch for many hours.

PACKAGING:

The watch came in a sleek black box with a bow tied on top. If you open that box, the original box containing the product reveals. The company sent the product packed really well and without any scratches. After I opened it I loved the shine and untouched beauty the product was showing.

MY THOUGHTS:

After I featured this watch on a recent outfit post, people commented on how beautiful the watch looked! I couldn’t agree more! All I did was wear this watch and a little ring to complete the whole look.

I loved the fact that’s these are automatic watches, which means I never have to store away a watch because it’s out of batteries.
The craftsmanship and making of the watch are excellent.
The watch can be worn whether you are dressing up or dressing down!
