OH BEHAVE!:
Coral with peachy gold and pink fine shimmers. I am saving this color for Summer time though.
READY TO BOA:
It’s a burgundy-brown with burgundy red and gold duochrome effect.
PARTY ON A PLATFORM:
Blue based classic medium red cream polish. Everyone needs to have this color in collection!
GO WITH THE FLOWY:
This is a dove grey cream polish with very fine & subtle silver & light blue shimmers. Generally these kind of colors are hard to pull off but the hint of shimmers make it interesting. You will need 2-3 coats to make the coverage even. And also, this was the hardest color to photograph properly, but I did my best to portrait the real thing.
GETTING GROOVY:
This is a sparkling nail color with gold & silver fine glitters. This is a perfect color for holidays!
SATIN SISTER:
It’s rich teal cream nail color. With just 1 coat you get excellent coverage.
MY THOUGHTS:
- The cream colors have excellent coverage. The shimmer ones are also good, but you will need 2-3 coats to get even coverage.
- The formula dries down pretty quick.
- As I didn’t apply any base or top coat, the colors stayed unchipped 2-3 days on my nails. With base and top coats it stayed longer.
- The shades are versatile and properly chosen for Winter.
PROS:
♦ Quick dry time.
♦ Affordable.
♦ Nice color range
CONS:
♦ Shimmery ones needed 2-3 coats of application.
♦ You will need to apply a top coat to prolong the wear of the nail colors.
IN A NUTSHELL:
A short story before sharing my final thought of this collection.
I wanted to wear Essie nail colors on my wedding, but ordering online from Bangladesh meant paying 4-5 times the actual cost. So I had to skip buying those colors I picked so hopefully! Now that I have had the opportunity to work with Essie and actually try out their products, I am truly honored and beaming happily like a teenager.
So in a nutshell; Essie 2016 Winter collection is a great addition to any nail color addicts’ collection. I am loving these!
