COLOR SPOTLIGHT is a new series on Sifa’s Corner. Every month I will show 10 or more products featuring one specific color or in the same color family. The color I have chosen for April is WHITE.
WHITE- the color of purity, cleanliness, innocence, simplicity. April has been a very hectic month for me, many things are changing and my mind was pretty preoccupied this month, so it felt logical to choose a color which represents calm and balance.
I have chosen 14 products representing WHITE or variations of white or in the neutral color family. So let’s get started.

NAIL PRODUCTS:
1. CHANEL Le Vernis Nail color 613 EASTERN LIGHT:
This opaque milky white nail color looks beautiful worn alone, or with a top coat.
Retails for $27 , can be found here.
2. MAYBELLINE Color Show Veils Top Coat- 612 CRYSTAL DISGUISE:
This top coat is not technically white, it’s transparent. But just look at the color! It looks absolutely magical.
Retails for $3.99 , can be found here.
3. MAC Cream Color base- PEARL:
This frost finish cream color base can be used as a highlighter or eyeshadow base. I prefer it as highlighter. The warm off-white color looks gorgeous on tanned skin.
Retails for $21 , can be found here.
4. SURRATT Artistique Blush- AURÉOLE:
It’s an ivory with very soft gold shimmers in it. Depending on the application the color and intensity can be built up. As much as I am loving the product itself, the packaging is absolutely horrible. (Sorry to use such a negative term!)
Retails for $32 , can be found at Sephora

Under Sunlight
5. URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow Palette- NAKED BASICS:
This eyeshadow palette is not a white shadow palette per se, but it’s a great neutral palette to have in your collection. It has 5 matte and 1 shimmery color in 6 basic neutral colors.
Retails for $29 , can be found here.
6. NYX Eyeshadow base- WHITE:
If you have loved NYX jumbo pencil in MILK, you are gonna love this eyeshadow base. This stark white shadow base adheres pretty well to eyelids and makes any color vibrant.
Retails for $7, can be found here.
7. MILANI Bella Eyes Gel Powder eyeshadow-
BELLA CHIFFON:
You can use this shadow as eyeshadow and also as highlighter. It’s a warm gold based off-white color. The shadow itself is really smooth, blends like a charm and gives great color payoff even without a base.
Retails for $3.99 and can be found here.
8. S.A.L.T.Y cosmetics Loose Luxury Mineral eyeshadow- GLAMA-ZOID!
I never heard of this company before receiving their product, but I must admit- this particular product is pretty awesome. Why am I using the “A” word? Well, this pigment is iridescent white with pink & purple reflects. It looks different under different lighting and base.
Retails for $4.50 , can be found here.
9. MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder- 942
If you haven’t tried MUFE star powders, you are missing something pretty amazing. You can use these powders as anything. This particular shade 942 looks better with a base underneath. This pigment is iridescent white with yellow and a bit of light blue within.
Retails for $20 , can be found on Sephora.
10. MAKE UP FOR EVER Glitters- 04
I am not a glitter-girl, but this shade makes me wanna wear glitters on my eyes. It’s a beautiful color which can look from almost white to blue-purplish under different lights.

I love using a bit of white eyeliner in the corner to brighten my eyes!
Me too Heidi, it makes such a big difference!
I love white nail polishes! Thanks for recommending Maybelline. I can greab that without having to run to the mall. 🙂
Hey Linda, I love Maybelline nail colors, so much variety without breaking the wallet.
I never thought of white for makeup. The nail polish looks cool.
Indeed it is Tara 🙂
