REVIEW: Jenni Rivera Eyeshadow & Blush palette

by Wasifa Ahmad Hasan
Hello Readers!
Today’s article is a review of another BH cosmetics makeup palette…. Jenni Rivera 36 color eyeshadow & blush palette. It’s a limited edition palette. So I was pretty happy when I got my hands on this baby!

What does the company have to say about this palette :

“The #1 Latin Singer sensation Jenni Rivera and premier cosmetics brand BHCosmetics have joined forces to develop an exclusive makeup palette just for BHCosmetics and Jenni Rivera fans. We, at BHCosmetics, and Jenni Rivera hope that fans enjoy the 36 Color Eyeshadow and Blush Palette as much as we did creating it. This exclusive palette is sold for a limited time only at www.bhcosmetics.com.”

Let’s have a look at the palette.
Here is what the palette looks like.

As the name suggests, the palette has 36 beautiful eyeshadows and 6 blush colors with a built-in mirror.

Eyeshadows :

It has taupe, purple, bronze, gold, blue, orange, burgundy and other pretty colors mixed with shimmer and matte ones.

Fallout :

There was very little fallout of the shadows which can be easily corrected with a powder brush or a shadow guard.

Color payoff :

The color payoff of the shadows are pretty good. You can use the colors for your everyday natural look to dramatic evening look.
The colors are buildable, you can pretty much use these as a wash of color or gradually build up for a more vibrant look.
The colors are swatched here without any primer.

Blush :

The 6 blush colors are mixed with shimmer and matte….from coral to pink and brown.

Let’s have a closer look at the colors. Click the picture for enlarged view.

P.S. Blush number 1, 4 & 5 has become my everyday favorite! No. 3 & 6 looks almost same but no. 3 has more brown tone within it than no. 6.  Blush no. 6 is great for night time….and a little amount goes a long way!
If you are looking for a shimmery blush then no. 2 will be great for you.. It works both as a blush and a highlighter for my skin.

Looks :

Here are 2 looks created entirely with this palette.

And…..

So tell me, Which one do you like?

Final thoughts :

I love it and nowadays this is my go-to palette.
Why?

Because I don’t have to bring out separate blush or eyeshadows in the morning….I can just swipe some color on my cheeks and use any eyeshadow of my choice to define my eyes….all from just one palette!

Have you used this palette? What are your thoughts?
