Google Reader replacement- BLOGLOVIN

by Wasifa Ahmad Hasan

After the announcement of the shutdown of Google Reader on July 1, many bloggers and blog readers are facing difficulties. Because Google Reader was the thing which held meaning for Google friend connect (GFC). If you are a blogger, you know what this will cost you!
But do not worry! Today I am writing all about the alternative for Google Reader/GFC- Bloglovin!

If you are a reader:

If you an avid blog reader, just some simple steps can ensure that you don’t lose your blog lists.
Follow these steps:

1.

I have installed a Bloglovin button on the right side bar of my blog; it’s just under my picture.
Click on the button of Bloglovin.

2.

Then you will be redirected to a page which will look like this. Click the FOLLOW button to follow the blog.

3.

When you click on it, the following SIGN UP option will appear.
If you are not a yet a member, SIGN UP. You can sign up with your Facebook or your email ID.
And done! Explore new blogs and follow your favorite ones. It’s that simple!

If you are a blogger:

There there! I can relate to your troubles!
At least moving from Google Reader to Bloglovin is easy!
All you have to do is sign up and import your feeds from Google Reader account. To import all the blogs you follow on Google Reader to Bloglovin, just click here bloglovin.com/import/reader.
Bloglovin has already made a detailed post about the transition process. You can find it here.

A Request!!

I humbly request all my readers to give me a moment of your time and follow me with Bloglovin or subscribe to the email updates. You can also find my blog on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Google Plus.
Join my blog with your preferred social media and stay connected!
 Stay Healthy, Stay Beautiful!!

Same here! I used Bloglovin before but I was not that regular. Now that I am trying it everyday, I love it even more.
Oh… and I'm already following you there, so no worries! 🙂

Following you now! Here's my link: http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/4158553/quick-cheap-and-pretty

I'm honestly finding that I like the Bloglovin' reader better than the old Google reader. So there's a plus, at least!

dynamic view doesnt show the Bloglovin widget itself 🙁

dynamic view itself is very limited to the widgets…it doesnt even show any social media ones… but I could do without them…but I guess no longers

Why do you have to let go of the dynamic view?
Even if someone follows you from Bloglovin, he/she will be redirected to your actual blog page.
